- A group of FX boys have returned from a trip of a lifetime competing in the soccer mad nations of Italy and England.
- Twenty boys represented Xavier Academy well in all activities including five friendlies and a number of training sessions with Academy pros.
- The tour involved five matches against top European clubs including Parma FC, Latina Calcio, Charlton Athletic FC and Leyton Orient.
- The team also participated in training on site at the Tottenham , Charlton Athletic and Parma First team and Academy grounds.
- Other highlights included watching Serie A match Chievo Verona v Juventus as well as Champions League match Chelsea v Genk at Stamford Bridge Stadium.
- The boys were given opportunities to experience the difference in cultures having visited the Coloseum and Vatican in Italy and visiting Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus (Lillywhites) and the London Tower in England.
