Dear St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School Community,
As we begin a new school year, I extend a heartfelt welcome to our students, families, staff, and community partners. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to continue your journey at St. Francis Xavier, we are grateful that you are part of our St. Francis Xavier Catholic School family.
The beginning of a school year is always filled with hope and possibility. It is a time to reconnect, build new relationships, embrace new challenges, and look ahead with optimism. As a Catholic learning community, we recognize that each new year offers an opportunity to grow not only in knowledge and achievement, but also in faith, character, and purpose.
At the heart of everything we do is our school motto, Caritas Christi, The Love of Christ. This guiding principle shapes our relationships, our actions, and our commitment to one another. It calls us to create a school where compassion, respect, and service are lived each day, and where every person is welcomed, valued, and supported in becoming the very best version of themselves.
St. Francis Xavier has long been a place where students are encouraged to discover their gifts and pursue their passions. Our commitment to academic excellence continues to provide students with opportunities to challenge themselves through a rich and engaging curriculum. This includes our Advanced Placement courses and a variety of other pathways that prepare our students for future success.
Beyond the classroom, St. Francis Xavier offers countless opportunities for our students to connect, contribute, and thrive. This is seen through our Sport Academies, Fine Arts programs, Career and Technology Studies courses, Athletics, Leadership initiatives, Clubs, and Faith-Based activities. Students are invited to explore new interests, develop their talents, and build meaningful relationships. These experiences help shape confident, compassionate young people who are ready to make a positive impact in our world.
St. Francis Xavier also remains committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, understanding, and reconciliation. Through our Braided Journeys program and ongoing learning opportunities, we continue to honor Indigenous perspectives and strengthen relationships grounded in truth, respect, and shared understanding.
One of the greatest strengths of St. Francis Xavier is the people who fill its hallways and classrooms each day. We are deeply grateful for our exceptional staff, whose dedication, expertise, and care make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.
As we step into this new year together, let us embrace the opportunities before us with courage, gratitude, and faith. Let us celebrate successes, persevere through challenges, and continue to build a school community where kindness, excellence, and belonging are evident in all that we do.
May Christ's love guide our hearts and actions throughout the year ahead. May our school continue to be a place where students are inspired to learn, encouraged to lead, and empowered to serve. Most importantly, may every member of our community know that they are loved, valued, and an important part of the St. Francis Xavier family.
I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School!
With faith and gratitude,
